Terms of Service

We match learners with top tutors across Africa, US, UK and Canada depending on demand. We are not the employer of tutors; tutors set their own rates and schedules.

You must be 16+ to create your own account. Younger learners must use an account managed by a parent or guardian.

Lessons are booked and paid through Classpodia. We hold payment in escrow and release it to the tutor after the lesson. Our platform fee is 15%.

Cancel free of charge up to 12 hours before a lesson. Cancellations within 12 hours may incur a 50% fee at the tutor's discretion.

If a lesson doesn't meet our quality bar, request a refund within 48 hours via your dashboard.

No harassment, no off-platform payments, no sharing of account credentials. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.

You own the content you create. Tutors grant Classpodia a licence to host and display lesson materials necessary to operate the service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim is capped at the fees you paid in the 3 months preceding the claim.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales for users in the UK and EU; Nigerian law for users in Africa.
